Baby Gavin Kurtz is HERE!

So at long last, after lots and lots of waiting my son is here.

Gavin Michael Kurtz was born Tuesday August 7th @ 4:33 PM.
He weighted 7lbs and 11 oz and measured out at an impressive 21 inches!

He has a dark complexion, dark hair, and dark eyes. Both he and his mother, Christina, are in good health and were able to come home the next day.

Our First Red Wings Game

A friend of mine had Red Wings tickets and asked if I wanted to go. I said "YEAH...can my wife come?" He's like... "OF COURSE! See you at the game." Neither my wife nor I had been to one EVER! And we're from Hockey Town!

I was so excited! So we went and it was GREAT! The game was against the Oilers and went into overtime with a score of 3-3. Over time expired and it went to a shoot-out!

Scott was like "You guys are SOOO lucky! This hardly ever happens and you get to see it on your first game!"

We didn't win the shoot-out but it was an AMAZING experience. I'm so grateful to God for this great night we had together.
